    As a DevOps admin, you’ll be supporting fill some areas that are between our development and infrastructure teams. This includes things like performance monitoring as well as development and hosting platform administration and patching. A willingness to keep things running day to day and suggest cross-team iterative improvements are core to this role.

    Responsibilities

    • Communicates and collaborates on day to day needs with engineers and other admins
    • Monitors and reports on application up-time, performance and other metrics on daily basis
    • Responds to alerts or issues identified via monitoring and notifies or coordinates a resolution
    • Patching, configuration, and access of DevOps owned systems including:
      • Team Foundation Server (TFS) platform
      • IIS Web Servers
      • AppDynamics / Azure AppInsights
      • Grafana
    • Active directory administration as it pertains to other supported systems
    • Support custom application deployments
    • Manages NuGet and NPM repository 
    • Perform network monitoring to assist in SSL and other network issues when needed
    • Ability to write scripts to resolve issues at scale
    • Ensure systems and people are adhering to process and identify where this is not happening
    • Provide feedback for changes to systems and processes

    Any other tasks or projects, as assigned by immediate supervisor

    Qualifications

    • Willingness to jump in and take on new tasks to support the team
    • Passion for having technology effectively meet business needs
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work with many personality types across many teams
    • Proficiency with Windows OS, IIS, and active directory
    • Familiar with industry standard DevOps tools
    • ServiceNow experience a plus
    • Familiarity with Azure or other cloud providers a plus
