The focus of this position involves a mix of assisting pharmaceutical clients in measuring and recommending improvements to their financial assistance programs or marketing promotions as well as working on internal projects and reports.


The candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality analytic services to a broad range of pharmaceutical clients that range from small start-ups to Fortune 50 based on our existing analytic products.


While technical skills are valued, verbal and written communication skills are key; especially the ability to draw clear and logical conclusions from analyses and present these as actionable insights to clients. Understand the program goals of each client and tailor a solution to meet those goals, presenting to an audience of sales and marketing professionals of external clients as well as internal sales and program management teams.


Most external analyses will focus on improving financial aspects of the program such as cost reduction or profit maximization. Internal projects will be diverse, ranging anywhere from improving business processes to working on fraud prevention.


  • Understanding of our core analytic products such as prescriber targeting, offer optimization, and geographic analysis. Present the concepts of these products to existing and potential clients, as well as run the analyses and present product results to clients.
  • Serve as the analyst on internal company-wide initiatives, developing analytical tools to support these projects, such as a tool to examine pharmacy transactions in order to determine if fraud is taking place.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to support client needs such as sales force alignments, volume/financial forecasts, and adherence analysis using tools such as SQL, SAS, JMP and Excel. Understand the program goals of clients and perform analysis that provide program improvements related to those goals. Communicate analyses & results to clients in a clear and logical manner by phone or in person.
  • Provide pre-sales support by making program recommendations prior to a product launch. Present directly to potential clients on analytic services and potential offer structures.
  • Provide analysis to support program managers during their quarterly business reviews, utilizing internal data sources as well as external sources such as IQVIA.
  • Collaborate internally with Sales and Project Management to prepare project estimates, timelines and proposals.
  • Provide back-up support to reporting teams by creating and running SQL queries as needed.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or similar discipline.
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience providing analytic services.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills.
  • Experience interpreting model results and presenting meaningful, client-ready business insights.
  • Demonstrated application of analytical skills in using statistical packages such as SAS, JMP, Python, etc.
  • Mid to High-level proficiency in SQL programming.
  • Advanced Excel skills. (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Macros)
  • Proven ability to work cross functionally with internal company stakeholders and external clients.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry or patient affordability concepts preferred.
  • General knowledge of Machine Learning concepts preferred.
