About the Job

TrialCard is growing rapidly and we are looking for the right people to help build the next iteration of our enterprise platforms.  We are looking for a dynamic full stack developer who has significant experience in developing domain-oriented micro-services at an enterprise level as well as have some experience in developing front end applications.  The applications are C#/.NET stack and the ideal candidate will have a strong backend in those technologies and also have great experience on the front end.

Responsibilities

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including: daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, demos, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Work with stakeholders and your team to extract requirements/acceptance criteria and help to provide practical design solutions.
  • Analyze existing relational databases to identify domain areas which can be broken into smaller micro-service data stores.
  • Develop new micro-services which are highly scalable and reliable.
  • Write quality code that adheres to the SOLID principles and internal TrialCard standards.
  • Work with technical leads and architecture to help drive new initiatives in software development.
  • Consult with QA to aid in crafting test plans and assist with creating automated regression/integration tests.
  • Continuously stay on top of current technology trends and assist with mentoring junior developers.
  • Contribute to the overall success of projects and the scrum team by assisting teammates to complete all stories within a given sprint.
  • Participate in code reviews and pull requests to ensure coding standards and quality are being followed.
  • Perform code analysis to come up with the best balance of code quality vs. performance and scalability vs. delivery timing vs. work effort
  • Update and improve existing code-bases as needed due to new requirements, framework updates, or dependency upgrades.

Qualifications

 

Qualifications   

  • Experience working on enterprise-level projects where you had significant hands-on experience in designing and developing micro-services in the Microsoft .Net framework (Web API, REST).
  • Hands on experience with Front end development using MVC, Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Typescript
  • Strong SQL experience with a good understanding of relational database design (foreign-keys, indexes, normalization, schemas).
  • Understanding of the security concerns around API development and how to guard them.
  • You understand why unit testing is important and do it on a daily basis.
  • You’re comfortable using Git either from the command-line or Visual Studio/VS Code.
  • You work well in a team environment and are excited about following agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Agile software development lifecycle tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
