About the Team:

We are a mid-sized and growing team tasked with analysing and synthesizing healthcare documents, which cover a range of policy types and topics. By providing our clients with real-time updates on the latest changes to medical and pharmaceutical policies across the US Healthcare landscape, we help reduce claim denials and ensure patients receive coverage for the therapeutics they need. We achieve this by taking a detailed and methodical approach to all document analysis, as well as through technology enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Synthesize relevant policy information from complex Healthcare-related documents into a customized client report that summarizes valuable findings
  • Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights language that sets our users up for success
  • Read and work with complex, technical documents
  • Work independently and able to make their own decisions, but also willing to follow style guidelines
  • Conduct Quality Control checks on your own work, as well as the work of colleagues, if required
  • Responsible for coordinating specific team workflows & collecting statistics
  • Provide support and guidance to new hires, participating in the mentorship program when requested
  • Perform routine maintenance on an existing database of medical policy information, gaining relevant industry expertise
  • Evaluate current content & processes and develop innovative approaches for improvement
  • Obtain a deep understanding of the US healthcare landscape

Qualifications

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field 
    • Education background: life science, social science, language-focused humanities; ideal is a background in science and strong interest in writing, or vice versa.
  • Experience within Pharma or pharmacy benefit management (PBM) industry, including US Formulary management is considered an asset
  • Expert English language skills (both written and verbal). A significant part of the job requires reading, understanding, and creating technical documents
  • Experience with synthesizing and summarizing complex technical information
  • Ability to communicate complex subjects and ideas clearly
  • Strong writing and analytical skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus
  • Comfortable working with technology 
    • Able to adapt easily to new database systems
    • Experienced working with spreadsheets
