Overview

As a Product Owner, you will join our team on a journey to help eliminate barriers for patients, increase their access to medications, and help them receive lifesaving treatments while working in an environment that nurtures you.

 

We are seeking a strong Agile Product Owner to be part of the process of transforming our organization's software development and mindset to one of agility. Join our team and help us deliver industry-leading products, innovative solutions to support and improve the patient journey to health and specialty medicines. The candidate should be able to capture and prioritize business and user needs and manage the Product backlog of a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize the team backlog, working with stakeholders to ensure that it accurately reflects current priorities and business value.
  • Write clear product backlog stories, prioritizing items that best meet overall team and company objectives.
  • Ensure team is performing in a manner to provide optimized value.
  • Provide clear and visible communication to all stakeholders.
  • Work closely with business owners and Subject Matter Experts, along with client community to understand, write user stories and prioritize requirements.
  • Refine user stories with the team to explain the what and the why.
  • Work with the scrum master and the entire team to set and meet the sprint goals.
  • Provide input to help refine and define our agile transformation.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles as well as experience working with Agile product development cycle.
  • Ability to work independently and jointly in unstructured, self-directed environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, and proven ability to communicate effectively across the organization.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Collaborative working style with an ability to be adaptable and interact with a variety of stakeholders and clients.
  • Ability to be decisive, keeping the best interest of our clients throughout the duration of the project lifecycle.
  • Flexible and able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving-skills.
  • Analytical mind-set who possesses outstanding organizational and time management skills
